The starting point
Why I’m making it
I wanted a local assistant with a character of her own. I'm interested in how she talks and reacts, as well as how the model works. Airy lets me try those ideas in an app.

What I’ve been doing
I'm building the app around a local model. Text chat, voice input, and voice commands work already, along with the configuration for her personality. I'm still working on the rest.

What I’m working through
I want to see whether Airy's behavior stays consistent across different situations. There's also memory to improve and resource use to work on, so I have plenty left to figure out.

What I want to try with fine-tuning
I plan to fine-tune a local model to give Airy a consistent personality, using dialogue examples and explanations of the principles behind her behavior. I want to test how well those principles generalize to unfamiliar situations.
